We went in August, and it was still snowing! A four and a half hour drive out from Sydney, it’s wonderful place to go skiing and tobogganing in as well. They also offer snowboarding and skiing lessons for people of different ages and levels.

Selwyn Resort itself doesn’t have accomodation, we booked in a holiday park about an hour and fifteen minutes away. The towns nearby have history! They carry stories of the gold rush era, and you can tell how old the buildings are from their Georgian-style architecture(the bank looked like a castle).

Definitely an amazing place to travel to for a weekend trip!
